RWA welcomes writers at all stages of their careers from the unpublished, to the "almost" published, to the published and the multipublished. In an effort to meet the needs of all its members, RWA has several Communities of Practice (CoP) which are communities of people who come together with a common interest to share ideas, find solutions, and build innovations.
PAN Member Websites
RWA Published Authors Network recognizes members who are "traditionally published" and/or who have met specific organization-defined benchmarks in their career.
PRO Member Websites
RWA PRO focuses on the business side of writing for those who are not yet traditionally published. To be eligible to join PRO, RWA members must provide proof that they have completed a romance manuscript and that they have submitted the manuscript to a publisher or literary agent.
Alternatively Published Members
Some of our members have opted to publish with small independant presses and/or to publish electronically. Although not an official RWA category, SRW recognizes everyone's commitment to publishing.
