In the morning, Michael Charton will speak to us on "Selling Yourself When the Book Comes Out."
Michael , is originally from New York state. He was born in Brooklyn and grew up in historic Brooklyn Heights. He saw the World Trade Center being built from his living room window, had part time jobs in the building, visited people there, and watched in shock from a New Jersey cliffside as it burned. He is fascinated by history, not just the "what" of it but the "who" as well. He likes to incorporate historical facts into his fiction. He and his wife Elaine, also a writer, relocated to Tucson, Arizona several years ago.

USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Ashley has lived and traveled all over the world, and now lives in the Southwest. She writes historical, paranormal, and contemporary romance, historical mystery, and historical mainstream fiction. She writes as Jennifer Ashley and also under the pen names Ashley Gardner (mysteries) and Allyson James (paranormal romances). Jennifer's novels have won RWA's RITA for Best Novel with Romantic Elements (A Lady Raised High), the Golden Quill, RT Reviewer's Choice awards, and the Prism award, among others. Her books have been also been translated into several European and Asian languages.
She enjoys writing and reading above all else, but her hobbies include cooking, hiking, playing flute and guitar, painting, and building miniature dollhouses.
